Took a walk

I fell asleep on the marta train heading north to midtown today and as I got closer to the North Springs station i decided to take a walk outside of downtown Atlanta.

The Excitement of Washing Cloths!

There is no excitement when it comes to washing clothes...

I have a washer and dryer at home but they seemed to have died on us...

RIP Washer and Dryer
(1999-2006)
*I really don't know when we got them

So for the past two/three years I have been going to a HOT/MUSTY/OLD laundry mat near my house. On all accounts, the place really suck but we do get our cloths done.

Things to beware of:
>Expired ice cream bars
>TV channels such as TCM were they play old Ronald Reagan movies... over and over and over!
>Floors covered in a brown grimy mold which looks like a venereal disease.
>Screaming kids who pee and poop everywhere.
>People stealing your underwear/you accidently stealing someone else's underwear =__=
>Being so bored that you daydream about someone busting into the laundry mat and shooting up the place but you already planed out your escape rout but it requires you to use others as human shields.

(me being bored)

Homeless DAY

Above Underground Atlanta (7:33 a.m.)

Today was pretty moist.

Some homeless man was yelling at me this morning after I snapped the above picture. He was yelling: "THAT'S NOT YOUR CAR! GET FROM THERE!" (WTF homeless man!)
SIDE NOTE: I can run pretty fast o__o

Barnes and Noble (1:30 p.m.)

I had an interesting conversation with some random dude at Barnes and Noble. I left some book on a table and ran to the bathroom but when I got back some guy was looking through my books. I kinda just stood there waiting for him to notice me (THE WAIT: 22.6 sec).
He was a pretty cool guy who knew a thing or two about graphic novels. After about a 20 minutes or so he said he had to head back to THE SHELTER...
*shocked* ( ' O')
Before he left, he told me that he's homeless and stays at a shelter some where near the store. And being that he doesn't have much to do, he reads at Barnes and Noble.

uhm...

Downtown weather forecast

So a local news station stated that is was going to be raining on today (Friday march-13-2009) but it didnt...

COME ON! WHERES MY MOIST! GIVE ME MOIST!
It's not like I really wanted it to rain, but I carried an umbrella around for most of the day in that hope of getting wet... but not in that way ;) (i might need to omit that whole statement)

F*** you WAGA Fox 5 Atlanta with your dependable and informative news reports at very convenient hours... you can't even tell me when its going to rain :(

I didn't want all that moist-ful-ness anyway.

On a different note, I had a pretty good day today. I really dont have anything else to complain about (im excluding the panhandlers i passed that smell like poop becuz I smell tham everyday... not by chose though =__= ).
My game boy color has a fresh pair of batteries full of flesh burning acid and I'm playing Kirby's Dream Land. uhm..

Me likey Manga

I have the habit of throwing away all forms of productivity and responsibility just so I get into a new manga. Its just something about putting your life on hold to read about the most random of subjects.

I just finished chapter 264 Vagabond. Not much I can say about it... just wish I had more Musashi :)

Vagabond is an adaptation of a novel based on the life of Miyamoto Musashi, so its a historical piece. That being so, it doesn't have generic plot twist like some manga and lame story arcs that have nothing to do with the story.

Me likey Albany (GA)

My family and I spent the week at my brothers place in Albany Georgia.

I packed super fast and light so as a result I left a crape-load of things i wanted to bring, but I really didn't care as long as packed my Dream Cast and MVC2 (I love you late-late 90's).

-I bet I could of lasted the whole week on two pair of underwear ;)

My brother has been living in Albany for about five years and I made several jokes about him living in the middle of nowhere only living near a pig and a chicken. All-in-all, Albany is pretty decent (Piggaly Wiggaly is where the action is).

(my brother Jason)

My brother doesn't have cable (O__O) so for a whole week we all watched random shows on the internet the day after they premiered on television. 30 rock and the Office gave me moments of salvation (=__=).

We rarely get to hangout together as a family and when we do... we have lots of fun (I guess we really didn't need TV...).

(My sister Ashley and me)

WONDER MENT OF LIFE: A Circuit City near us went out of business last week in Albany so everything was 60%-80%. We busted into Circuit City like Spaniards plundering for gold... but I'm pretty sure we didn't rape any native american.

I bought like eight CDs for $2.50 each.

Uhm, I'm pretty sure I did a lot more during my trip but i cant really remember :(
