Last Days

Its been fun, but its time for me to move out. Staying with my family was pretty economically stable. Plus, they kind of love me and stuff. But with me and my girlfriend ready to take the next leap forward while trying our hand at being online entrepreneurs. A floor bed surrounded by posters doesn't really scream adult.

I think I've been looking for a new place to live for about a year and a half now. Haven't really found too many places that are as classy as I am.

Wet Store JP - AKIRA Bomber

After scrolling through a slew of animal related videos that my girlfriend tagged me in on facebook. I ran across this amazing preview shot from Wet Store JP. An eye popping red MA-1 flight bomber jacket with Wet Store's current logo on the back. Hot damn! I'm patiently waiting for this shit to drop.

For the past year, Wet Store JP really seemed to be pulling inspiration from the anime Akira like a mother fucker, and its not really a bad thing. Some independent clothing brands will simply pull elements from a certain medium. Copy and past this, copy and past that. And subsequently, their collections give off a very sophomoric and unoriginal vibe that most people ignore like a starving vagrant. But Wet Store JP on the other hand, they are creating a narrative for they'er cloths. Expanding on an element from Akria, and creating a motif around it. Or something...

Akira (アキラ) Trailer

A pointless post but good in nostalgia.
