Low G Man

If there was a poem to describe my love for this box art, I'm sure it would be written by Madam Maya Angelou. Did you get that joke?  It was funny, right? "Low G Man" is a game where the main character can ascend to high feats due to low gravity(hints the G in the title), and "Still I Rise" is a poem popularized by Ms. Angelou.  Huh, you like that? Well fuck you...

About sixteen years ago, my brother came home from Walmart with a plastic bag full of NES games. It seemed that Walmart was making room for newer, better games(N64, hallowed be thy name), so in turn, NES titles were priced around 1-3 dollars. My brother(12), who fancied himself connoisseur of sorts. Fished out a decent selection from the bargain ben, with games like Snow Bros., TMNT 2, Guerrilla War, Stargazer, and Super Adventure Island. But by far, the most aesthetically pleasing game he bought was "LOW G MAN". That fuckin yellow box and that booklet. I mean, the game was kind of messy, and the character design for some of the bosses are ugly as fuck... but the game is fun and the box art is superb.
